I've always believed photography should do more than look beautiful on a wall, art moves people, and now you can also help create a ripple effect in someone else’s life.
Prints For Purpose is a collection of my favourite ocean, surf and lifestyle images, printed and ready to bring that same impact into your home. But there's more to it than that. A percentage of every print sold goes directly to Buffalo Pond, a social enterprise providing swim lessons and water safety education to communities across Lombok, Indonesia.
Water safety isn't a given everywhere in the world; it's a privilege. Buffalo Pond works to change that, giving locals access to lessons and skills they might never otherwise get the chance to learn.
Every print sold through this collection helps move that work forward. So when you buy a print, you're not just decorating a space, you’re creating a ripple effect. It's a small impact on our end that adds up to something real on theirs.
Our story
The Story Behind It
Growing up in Australia, I’ve spent most of my life in and around the water, a privilege most of us know very well. The ocean has given me a career, a sense of peace, and honestly, some of the best moments of my life.
However, not everyone gets that same relationship with water. For a lot of people, it's not a source of joy or confidence. It's unpredictable, even dangerous, simply because they've never had the opportunity to learn how to swim safely.
That's what drew me to Buffalo Pond. They run swim lessons and water safety education for communities in Indonesia who wouldn't otherwise have access to them. Turning something that can be terrifying into something people feel confident and safe doing. Giving less fortunate communities the chance to experience the ocean’s bliss.
I wanted to find a way to connect what I do with a cause like that. Photography has given me so much through water, it felt right to send some of that back the other way.
So Prints For Purpose was born: a print collection where part of every sale goes toward helping local children build a stronger relationship with the water too.
